Lining up on the rocky bank of the Suchiate river, which runs along Mexicos southern border with Guatemala, a thronging crowd from the migrant caravan shouted to their companions squatting on the international bridge. Venganse, they chanted, come on over. Minutes later, groups from the bridge poured down the hill to jump on rafts made with tires and crossed into Mexico. No police stopped them.
With large numbers making it over the river into Mexico by late Saturday, participants from the caravan of Hondurans and other Central Americans settled temporarily in the plaza of this border city. Some lay exhausted, mothers curled up asleep with children, resting before they would continue their march on Sunday.
But others were in an upbeat mood, dancing and singing. A Mexican federal police operation to stop them on Friday, which had been applauded by U.S. President Donald Trump, had failed to halt their advance. We are going to stay together, we wont be broken, said Edwin Rosas, a 31-year-old-builder from Progreso, Honduras, his shirt off in the humid evening. We will keep going all the way.
The caravan of an estimated 3,000 refugees and migrants, mostly without papers, first set out from the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula on Oct. 13, with the intention of heading through Guatemala and Mexico to the United States. As it pushes onwards, defying borders and growing in number, it has shaken governments through Central and North America....

Native Texans-especially those of Latino ancestry.
Google translator uses generic Spanish-it does not seem to acknowledge the difference in regional dialects-I never use it...
MrT5 tried to use it a time or two to translate to his 2nd language-Quebecois/Canadian French-it gave him generic French instead...
This is the implementation of La Raza’s dream of the “reconquest” of the SW United States by Mexico. Only they’re doing it unarmed. The war is on and we’d better wake up and see it for what it is.
Venganse is the plural (ustedes) imperative conjugation of venir. To get revenge is ‘vengarse’.
And the plural imperative conjugation of vengarse is ‘venguense’.
Let me get this straight.....
They are going through Mexico.
Why not just stay in Mexico?
We’re your Huckleberry, you invading little twerps.
We commonly say-I will take revenge-voy a tomar venganza or we will take revenge-vamos a tomar venganza-rather than “getting” it-just another difference in regional speech. We Tejanos-and other Nortenos also have a reputation for using more profanity in everyday speech-that is true...
Ah, but here’s the rub ..... you are using the noun ‘venganza’ (revenge).
Yes, I am-but as to these would-be mojados-if they are demanding to come over-why aren’t they saying voy a venir-I’m coming over-or as a group-estamos viniendo allí we’re coming over-there-or maybe they are-either way, somebody shut that mob down before this turns ugly...
Sounds like a plan to me!
Load up several large capacity pumper trucks with that skunk water and letem have it at long range!
If these losers illegally invade they should be shot dead. Is that also “broken “?
There BETTER be THOUSANDS OF OUR MILITARY WILLING TO SHOOT THESE INVADERS!
This MOB is just MORE ILLEGAL VOTERS for DEMOCRATS WHILE THEY SUCK OUR TAXPAYER MONEY!
I don’t wish to be seen to be picking at nits, but the way I read it is that the ones who have already crossed the creek are shouting “Venganse” (Come on!) to the ones who are still in whatever country it is that’s on the other side.
Nevertheless, it does appear that nobody is making any serious effort to stop them, so git yer muskets out!
They are being set up by their organizers who hope for a lot of martyrs...everything they do is all about flaunting the laws of the place they are in and promises to continue....makes it easy to say we need to stop them and trickier to do it w/o turning public opinion around by 180...at least this should motivate more repubs in the very near future.
(Wipes tear from eye.) Lots more of this weepy prose to come.
