Gender would be defined at birth as only male or female
The Trump administration is attempting to strip transgender people of official recognition by creating a narrow definition of gender as being only male or female and unchangeable once determined at birth, the New York Times reported.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has undertaken an effort across several departments to establish a legal definition of sex under Title IX, the federal civil rights law that bans discrimination on the basis of sex, the Times said, citing a government memo.
That definition would be as either male or female, unchangeable, and determined by the genitals a person is born with, the Times reported.
Such an interpretation would reverse the expansion of transgender rights that took place under President Barack Obama.
It would also set back aspirations for tolerance and equality among the estimated 0.7% of the population that identifies as transgender. Most transgender people live with a profound sense that the gender assigned to them at birth was wrong and transition to the opposite sex. Others live a non-binary or gender-fluid life....

That which is real cannot be defined out of existence.
They destroy traditions and norms, and when conservatives want return it back to what it was, we're immediately called names.
No one is born transgendered and they do not deserve rights they already receive as individuals under the Constitution.
This is about science and equality. Title nine is all about insuring that females have as many opportunities as males do.
To do that male and female have to be clearly defined.
I’m more on the side that sex is determined by a scientific test which is actually pure science.
And Gender that can be fluid of can change but this is not based on science.

A narrow definition? Good grief. We’ve truly been swept over the cliff with the loonies. This change in the law will be based on “science” and watch the progressives scream - while at the same time they criticize us for not recognizing climate change science. Poor things - no wonder they’re so messed up. They don’t know what they’re supposed to believe except it won’t be what has been accepted for our entire existence. It must be changed - for some dumb reason.
It would simplify things.
Your IDs would either say XX (”female)”,
XY (male), or
XYY (male, but perhaps a shade of difference)

So why should the 99.3% be inconvenienced and bend to the will of the 0.7% (and I’d guarantee that percent is inflated, it’s probably closer to Sen. Warren Indian percentages).

This action is overdue. Transgender is only removed from trans-dragon by degree, both suggesting a bit of reconstruction and some prosthesis, while the latter might also beg a fuel supply and an ignition source.
