With all due respect, I can't stand what is posted on DU and have absolutely nothing in common with them. It's beneath you to just dismiss what another FReeper has to say with that kind of comment.

I have deep respect for what I believe motivates most people here at FR. We are a diverse group, that all believe in freedom and self-determination.

What we are dealing with here is not a dispute about whether or not illegal immigration is acceptable. We all agree that it is not. We are just debating what the proper and most effective responses to it should be. In that context, I really don't think we should fight each other.

I am just concerned that the left is a propaganda machine, and we need to be several steps ahead of them to prevent them from manipulating public opinion.
