Everybody keeps talking about immigration laws.
Guess what, they say anyone can come to our borders and apply for entry.

Doesn’t say they’ll be approved, but they can come and apply.

So if you are big on following the law, there it is.

Do you really even care about tackling the illegal problem in the U.S.? These people are not applying for visitor visas. These are precisely the types that will be a net drain on social services and competitors to U.S. citizens for entry-level jobs in various sectors. If the U.S. wants people of this type, then they can accept them when they apply for immigration at U.S. embassies...not gathering together in a “mongol horde” and swarming the border.

I’m fine with changing the law.

Until it is changed, it has to be executed as it exists.

Cutting corners on our laws and political system is the root of all our current problems. When the system is strictly executed as the laws state, things go very well. I had an uncle who was a spook. We were standing in front of the massive Federal Judiciary Building in D.C. one day. He turned to me and said, “See that huge building? You know why we have such large buildings and monuments around this city? Other nations have statues of their leaders, we have these buildings. Because we are a nation of laws, not men.”
