I've spent most of my life feeling that minorities deserved more from society, and that I should do my part to make that happen. That said, I believe strongly now that the best things we can do for minorities is to treat them as Americans, with the same privileges of citizenship that all of us are supposed to have. No less, no more. They should see themselves the same way, Americans like the rest of us. Sotomayer CLEARLY identifies as a Hispanic more than she does as an American. That's very, very racist of her, and highly counterproductive to the mission of America to be a fair, free, inclusive society.
The amount of anti-white hatred in this country is ridiculous, and very dangerous.
Exhorted Latinos?
See....no matter what you do for these people...feed them, clothe them, educate them, even sit them on the USSC.....
they'll always thumb their nose at our laws; their loyalty lies with some Third World, flea-bitten country they came from.
These people will NEVER assimilate.
“...feeling that minorities deserved more from society....”
Therein lies the problem. Minorities go Mot deserve More, they deserve the Same and no more or less than any other American.
The idea that they deserve More has led to a caustic sense of entitlement that erodes the social construct.
