Any Florida experts care to chime in here. I can believe Gillum and Nelson are up but double digits seems crazy.

“A total of 1,012 adults who live in Florida were interviewed by telephone by live interviewers calling both landline
and cell phones. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. Among the entire sample, 32% described
themselves as Democrats, 29% described themselves as Republicans, and 39% described themselves as
independents or members of another party.”

Even the extremely liberal Tampa Bay Times newspaper is calling BS on this poll.

Both are probably outliers. If the next couple of polls show similar results then it’s time for concern, but not based on these two alone.

Andrew Gillum, bought and paid for by California billionaires.

Tom Steyer, the California billionaire and Democratic activist, is donating another $2 million to Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

The money comes in addition to previous donations to Gillum and extensive efforts on behalf of political organizations Steyer founded and funds, NextGen America and Need to Impeach.

“If you were going to choose a single race that has the most national significance, it would be the governor’s race in Florida,” Steyer told CNN.

Tom Steyer, not a Florida resident, endorsed Gillum in Florida and his organization, NextGen donated $800,000 to Gillum’s political committee for the primary.

Why is a CNN poll being posted here? Any Liberal Media or university poll is inherently biased. They always oversample Democrats, undersample Republicans, and are conducted in Liberal areas. Ignore these polls.

Not good.

Larry, I am in Florida and I do not see such leads. Are you privy to anything?

Reminds me of this from 2016.

https://www.cnn.com/2016/10/23/politics/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-presidential-polls/index.html

This is precisely why RCP averages are rubbish, because deranged, Trump hating outfits like CNN keep coming up with totally made up fake polls like this one, and RCP just accepts them no question asked, and includes them in their averages.

Never mind about CNN “polls”. Why don’t we take a look at the real votes so far from mail in votes from the Florida Division of Elections:

FDE reports yesterday's “Mail- IN” voting activity. GOP leads Dems by 51,000 vote margin.

The Florida Division of Elections has just released yesterday's, 10/19/2018 Mail-In voting activity, statewide. Florida early voting begins next week.

Republicans - 386,702 votes cast & recorded. Democrats - 335,702 votes cast & recorded. Others - 4,654 votes cast & recorded. No Party Affiliation (Independent) - 151,325 votes cast & recorded.

The GOP continues to pull away and increase its lead over Democrats by a leading margin of 51,000 votes, statewide. A final tally for yesterday's voting activity should be posted about 10:00 AM (EST) time this morning.

CNN poll: Gillum +12, Nelson +5

Please tell me this isn't even *close* to being correct!

FWIW, Real Clear Politics average has Stacey Abrams running just about even with Brian Kemp in the GA gubernatorial race. Learned today that Abrams has been steadily cultivating and building her voter base in black neighborhoods in GA for the past five years...

Early voting returns by party registration strongly suggest this isn’t accurate.

Fake News.
