Central America alone 179 million would like to come to the US. How many do we let in?

Whoa reality check

Some quick checking on the net and in the head math shows that all of central America (Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador) all together have a population a little south of 50 million people. The 179 million figure is incredibly exaggerated

There’s a 127 million in Mexico alone. Count them and it is about right.

The figure may be high since the rest of central America is just over 40 million.
