A House Democrat on the intelligence committee is suggesting that the White House and top aide Jared Kushner maintained a “hit list” of dissidents for the Saudi kingdom to assassinate.
Rep. Joaquin Castro of Texas, who sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said the supposed list included murdered Saudi dissident/journalist Jamal Khoshoggi.
The Saudi Arabia ruling family admitted Friday its operatives had killed Mr. Khoshoggi inside its consulate in Istanbul during what they described as a brawl.
Mr. Castro, appearing on CNN, floated the conspiracy that President Trump’s White House target Mr. Khoshoggi in alliance with Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman, the country’s 33-year-old de facto ruler.

The CNN anchor then pushed back, saying the network had not reported such a White House plot.

I’m pretty sure Trump had no idea who the hell this guy was before he walked into the Saudi embassy a few weeks ago.

If Trump had a “hit list”, there would be a LOT more dead “journalists.”

Killing of a ‘journalist’? Upsets journos everywhere ?
Cm’on journos ! Where is your concern for journos killed in Meh Hee KOE day inn and day out. Mayors killed regularly and police shot constantly in our next door neighbor..and U guys worry bout a Sauudi citizen who is filthy rich muzzy who was ‘brotherhood’ piece of crap !!
He was a Muslim Brotherhood apologist, he was anti-Egyptian military, he was anti-everything Trump’s America stands for, and I am sure he probably was on several hit lists. including the Saudi’s.
I am quite certain he cheered on September 11, 2001.
And let me guess, he saw nothing wrong with a suspicious death of a US supreme court justice.
There are enough wacko democrats out there who will believe anything if it’s against Trump.
Have the dems/media EVER mentioned the Clinton hit list? Isn’t the body county somewhere in the 70s now?
Sooner or later something will have to be done about the insanity coming from the left. It will reach a boiling point and I’d hate to be one of them when it does.

But here, like Warren, he shoots himself in the foot before the race even begins.
The damage is less in Castro's case than in Warren's, but he's starting from so much further behind that this makes his chances even slimmer than they were before.
This may be an indication of gaffes to come from Joaquin.
