It’s been my observation over the years that most people don’t put up yard signs nor put bumper stickers on their vehicles. I never have, and I don’t have any fear of retaliation or any such thing.
I’m as conservative as they come. I have never, and will never, put a bumper sticker anywhere on my cars. I don’t do yard signs. It’s not from fear, I just don’t do it and never will. yet I’ve voted in every single election since I turned 18. Politics is NOT my life.
I think people like me are the majority.
I’m the same and it’s not out of fear. I think many conservatives go about their lives without publicly displaying their beliefs. Liberals are different. Ever notice that when you approach a car with a ridiculous number of bumper stickers, they are always leftist? My theory is that Liberals, due to their inherent anger and some self awareness of their own cognitive dissonance, need to shout their beliefs. One political bumper sticker is a statement; Fifty is a scream fest.
