PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Federal prosecutors have opened an investigation of child sexual abuse by Roman Catholic priests in Pennsylvania, using subpoenas to demand secret files and testimony from high-ranking leaders in what victims’ advocates say is the first such probe ever launched by the U.S. Justice Department.

This is big and going to get much bigger. The Pope, IMHO to cover his own corrupt tracks, has already had to fire two cardinals who were involved in a lot more of this than what went on in PA. The investigation is very broad, FTA:

McSwain, [the U.S. Attorney] appointed by President Donald Trump earlier this year, asked for certain church leaders to testify before a federal grand jury in Philadelphia, though it could be months before that happens because of the time it takes to review the requested documents. He also demanded bishops turn over any evidence that anyone in their ranks took children across state lines for illicit purposes; sent sexual images or messages via phone or computer; instructed anyone not to contact police; reassigned suspected predators; or used money or other assets as part of the scandal.

The subpoenas seek documents stored in "Secret Archives," ''Historical Archives" or "Confidential Files," and records related to the dioceses' organizational charts, finances, insurance, clergy assignments and treatment of priests.

Since the Pope's been covering for this activity for years and because the investigation seeks secret files and essentially all electronic communications the PA church bodies and individuals have had over many years, it's almost inevitable that the investigation will grow like a massive cancer eating out the guts of the entire U.S. Church. After all, most of the perps. thought they were operating with impunity and treated "their" computers as actually theirs, making all of the mistakes Anthony Weiner made with his.

Stay tuned for lots of blood shed.

Like the thugs/mobsters, who controlled the FBI/DOJ/CIA and used our computers and power to mug candidate Trump, President Trump and anyone he nominates for a cabinet or Supreme Court position.

I was thinking of going back to the church of my childhood.

Probably not.

When I was a kid in the 1950s my father was an avid golfer. He'd let me have an occasional old golf ball that I'd take apart. After removing the cover I'd get to the rubber strands that were wound around the core. Patient picking at them would eventually reveal the master strand that, when pulled, would unravel the whole ball down to its core. The PA church organization having been a central part of the whole sex ring, I strongly suspect this inquiry will find one or more central threads of corruption and criminality that apparently run throughout the entire U.S. Church, leading to a massive set of indictments. There's just nothing like a massive Federal investigation to smoke out careless criminals who thought they were invulnerable.

Most, if not all of our churches are knee deep in the supporting the now open agendas of their gays?

How many of our federal and state governmental agencies/departments are knee deep in supporting the gay agendas in their departments and forcing them on any citizen in opposition?
