These U.N. “officials” will probably grant asylum to every single one of them.
Sadly.......absolutely!
>>These U.N. officials will probably grant asylum to every single one of them.<<
INHO this is a very bad move by President Trump because inviting UN apparatchiks to determine who is eligible for admittance to our country is a terrible precedent.
That was my first thought as well. I would add that since the U.S. is included in the list of 'host' nations, which the UN can select from, be assured that our UN 'friends' will send 99.9% of the so-called refugees to the U.S.
Bottom line: we will spend a ton of money underwriting this UN boondoggle and then spend another ton of money taking in the refugees the UN sends to the U.S., which again will be 99.9% of them.
The optics of this deal may look good to some conservatives. To them I have one word that should pop their bubble - "UN" .
I don’t see the U.N. involvement as being anything other than problematic. Whenever it steps in to “help” there’s reason to be concerned about outcomes. They have a strong anti-US bias.
These are not refugees...they are ‘economic’ migrants....
This is ‘phase two’ of the globalist plan for re-distribution of 3rd world populations into western nations.
Third world nations tend to have economies ‘dependent on’ the developed countries and are generally characterized as poor with ‘unstable governments’ and having ‘high rates of population growth, illiteracy, and disease.
Globalist/UN/Lefts Solution is to redistribute poor populations into western nations....period.
These U.N. officials will probably grant asylum to every single one of them.
___________
That’s what I think.
