I don’t see her as being any different from other people who hate themselves to the defree that they deny who they are, ant attempt to be someone they aren’t...such as trans gendered folks, transvestites and such. That’s not to say it’s a good, right or healthy way to be. Some folks just hate who they are, that much. They need that fantasy world for whatever reasons.
It’s also my opinion that now that the cat is out the bank, she should return the monies she gained through her fraud, Harvard University to start with.
Returning the Ill gotten money would require character she could never manage. She wouldn’t have the slightest idea. Steele wrote a great piece.

With all due respect, I don’t think that’s what is driving her. She is like Hillary, driven by narcissism and the absolute NEED to be recognized as better than, greater than smarter than, etc. etc. Combining this with liberal politics allows them to portray themselves as brilliant warriors, fighting for the downtrodden - who NEED THEM. It’s sick, and ultimately destructive, but unfortunately quite prevalent.
In as much as narcissists are thought to not like themselves at their core, you may be right. That said, I think she identified as an American Indian simply because it helped her. I highly doubt she spent much time thinking about what being an American Indian actually means, and what hardships they’ve faced.
What’s sick is these people are so incompetent, so weak, so doubting their own skill sets and abilities, so morally bankrupt that they will masquerade as somebody else to get get ahead, all the while hurting another person who is the genuine article. They should be called out for the reprobates they are.
