Not Smart: A professor at the University of Mississippi has called on people to desecrate the meals of Republicans by “sticking” their hands in their food and stealing the rest of it because they don’t deserve “civility.”
“Don’t just interrupt a senator’s meal, y’all. Put your whole damn fingers in their salads. Take their apps and distribute them to the other diners. Bring boxes and take their food home with you on the way out. They don’t deserve your civility,” James Thomas, an Assistant Professor at Ole Miss, tweeted Oct. 6, the day Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court.

I wouldn’t expect a lifelong “public servant” like a Senator to stand up to some squad of goons in a restaurant. First, the Senator is probably too old and would get his butt kicked. Second, footage of the Senator trying to hold his ground would make the nightly news, to gales of leftist laughter.
If I ever witness such an attempted humiliation, my first move would be to scan the mob of jackals and consider their numbers, formation, fitness, possible weapons, video recording, etc. Size them up, in other words. My second move would be to stand up and call out, at full volume, to all the real men (and rugged ladies) in the crowd and rally them to battle. Then it’s “go” time. Knock all the idiots down.
Yeah, we’re looking at arrest on all kinds of charges. So freakin’ what? Explain to the jury what you did and why and let Lady Justice do her job. This rudeness has to end, and force is now necessary. It’s “go” time.
