Left-wing documentary filmmaker Michael Moore believes “beloved Americans” such as actor Tom Hanks or Michelle Obama are some of the few possible candidates who could defeat President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. In an interview with Good Morning Britain‘s Piers Morgan, Michael Moore said that the Democratic Party needs to put forward a candidate with widespread appeal.
“Democrats need to run a beloved American, someone people want to vote for,” Moore explained. “I’ve said for years that Oprah should run. I’ve asked Tom Hanks twice to run.”
“Who doesn’t like Tom Hanks? Nobody, right? Tom Hanks would win,” he claimed. “I said you’re the only one that can save us. Maybe Michelle Obama, everyone loves Michelle Obama.”

Most Dem candidates ARE simply window dressing. Many of the newcomers in the Dem Party, running the first time for a position in the Congress, are nothing but Ken Dolls with no intellect. But that’s what the Dem higher-ups want. A puppet that doesn’t bother to think and votes all Dem, all the time.

Yeah - people look dreamy and smart in the movies with written speeches and anodyne messages. But when Hanks tells people he is going to take their guns away, it won’t be so dreamy.
What is infuriating about these liberals is that Donald Trump has cracked the code on minority unemployment, and he should get a Nobel Prize just for that, yet they will not rest until they destroy that accomplishment. These Dems offer no new ideas, save monolithic British style health care. Free community college? Who is paying?? Tax the rich! When Trump created the most significant social program in the world for a minority - and that is a JOB, they still cannot respect him. One job is worth 100 truckloads of government cheese and one thousand hours of Midnight Basketball. Trump deserves the praise for that, and not only will they not give it to him, they want to reverse what he has done and seek to destroy those jobs. If they lose 15% of the black vote to Trump, they will have a difficult time winning elections. The Dems will open the borders to bring in millions of illegals and destroy African American economic gains. They will put them all on welfare and buy a voter block while gutting out treasury.

Tom Hanks is currently shooting a movie here in Pittsburgh.
I will say that compared to prior stars who shot films here is he a welcome guest. At least he is polite to the locals and says nice things about the city instead of trashing it.
