Not entirely. Governor Hogan has done some good. He’s managed to get some tax cuts, including getting rid of the rain tax.
I just worry about four years from now, when he’s term-limited out.
Before Governor Hogan, the last Republican governor was Bob Ehrlich, a one-termer elected in 2002. Before Ehrlich, it was Spiro Agnew.
He did not get rid of the rain tax. I believe the bill he signed simply allows counties to opt out of it.
