Exactly. I bought a Mega-Millions ticket for tonight.
I know my chances of winning are pretty close to nil - but I can definitely dream about it.
$2 is cheap for such a great time of dreaming and escape from reality.
Movies cost 5x that much.
If I could come up with the 302 million I could buy every possible combination and guarantee a winning ticket......
But just my luck, two other people would have a winning ticket too and I'd be screwed.....
The past two Megamillions I only spent $2 for 7 tickets. How? Because just before that I got 2 numbers plus the Mega number giving me a payout of $10 which I used to to buy 5 tickets, one of which gave me a Mega number payout of $2. So I chipped in another $2 and got 2 tickets for tonight’s drawing.
