I didn't post this for fellow Freepers to read completely thru, but I ask the question. I get the feeling that this article was written BEFORE Warren came out in public with her video.

In other words, it appears that this is part of an orchestrated effort to push back against Trump. Fact is, the premise of this article is wrong.

What Warren is counting on is what a lot of politicians count on. That their supporters won’t care if they lie through their teeth over and over again.

Trump doesn’t have to, she defined herself and Trump is simply stating the obvious. She is a fraud, a liar, and an opportunist. No better than stolen valor Blumenthal. Will she get defeated in November? Probably not but I don’t see how she recovers for her quest for national office. She committed political suicide by outing herself. And she apparently doesn’t get it.

Well, as long as you include Central American and South American ancestry...”Cherokee ancestry” is a much more specific claim.

The fact is that Pocahonky has less “Native American” DNA than the average US citizen...and she is now a laughingstock.

Warren's Native American claim is based on two things:

1. Somewhere in her family's history there was someone who was at least part Native American.

2. Some people apparently thought her family was Native American, and treated them poorly as a result.

As for #1, that doesn't qualify you as Native American under the rules of any tribe in the country, and her 1.6% Native DNA suggests that no tribe ever would declare her a member.

As for #2, misperceptions don't make reality. Because of the way I look and dress, many people assume I'm a liberal, but that doesn't make me one.
