Time and again he has proven to be correct in his strategy. Either through his genius or purely divine intervention - we have a man that will fight for the forgotten, silent majority - a brave and flawed man. So many of us have cried out for that for decades!

I was struck by Trump's speech on Grant v. Lee, and it got me wondering if he didn't identify with Grant as a great leader despite setbacks and personal flaws. I think he does, and your post nicely informs that view.

I agree - and there is no doubt there is a huge amount of bravado and showman antics from Trump - its all calculated, and those that have been in and around his inner circle paint a very different picture of the man.

I love him and pray for him every day.
