So Elizabeth Warren was doing a victory dance about her DNA test showing 'strong evidence' she may have 1/1,024 or 0.09 percent Native American lineage. In hot pursuit, she called on President Trump to 'pay up' with his $1 million offer to the charity of her choice for taking the DNA test he said he would toss to her at a future presidential debate, earlier. As the network press admiringly gushed about the whole 'gotcha,' she was convinced she had him cornered.
Well, sorry, that debate hasn't happened yet and now it's doubtful it ever will, because Warren is hearing from leaders of the Cherokee nation.
Here is their astonishing rebuke to her for what they rightly view as a shabby little publicity stunt at their expense:
A Cherokee Nation official rebuked Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts after a DNA test report published Monday asserted there is evidence to "strong support" Warren's claim to have Native American ancestors.
Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. called the test cited by Warren's report "useless" in determining tribal citizenship and alleged she was "undermining tribal interests" with her "continued claims of tribal heritage."
"A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person's ancestors were indigenous to North or South America," Hoskin said in a statement.
"Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong." Hoskin added. "It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven."

"When it comes to ancestry, DNA is very good at determining close family relations such as siblings or parents, and dozens of stories are emerging that reunite or identify lost close family members (or indeed criminals). For deeper family roots, these tests do not really tell you where your ancestors came from. They say where DNA like yours can be found on Earth today. By inference, we are to assume that significant proportions of our deep family came from those places. But to say that you are 20 percent Irish, 4 percent Native American or 12 percent Scandinavian is fun, trivial and has very little scientific meaning. We all have thousands of ancestors, and our family trees become matted webs as we go back in time, which means that before long, our ancestors become everyones ancestors. Humankind is fascinatingly closely related, and DNA will tell you little about your culture, history and identity."
Warren is a certified phony. She advanced her career with bogus claims. She effectively stole from other people.
Excellent!
She hates being White ? LOL
She messed with the wrong people. There are no more nasty people, pc-people, angry people than tribal leaders. I know, a friend of mine worked with them for about 15 years. She has the scars to prove it. Even Brando gave up on them in the end!
The test results mean Warren may have no more Native American DNA than the average white American, and less than many other Americans
Even 1/64 corresponding to one great-great-great-great grandparent would not qualify Warren for membership in any Native American tribe, nor justify her claims to Native American identity.
As Fox News broke it down, Warrens DNA test ended up handing more fodder to Republican critics, who pointed out the test results indicate she could actually have less Native-American heritage than the average European American.
Her great great grandfather bought a cigar from a store with an Indian out in front.
And if Warren was a Repub, the media would be screaming about how 1% or less means nothing...
I think Fauxcahontas is just trying to pick up a per capita check from the casino money.
Bad for democrats who love to play identity politics.
LOL!
President Trump is now going to have to stop calling Warren Pochantas. Ponchantas was a real Indian. :0)

Somebody tell Trump that the correct word is: FAUXCAHONTAS.
The bottom line on Liz is that she spent per pre-political life grossly exaggerating her “family lore” that she had some Indian blood to create a lucrative academic career for herself without any evidence. The gullible university community, besotted with identity politics, blindly accepted her claims. Now that her claims have been subject to more rigorous questioning, they turn out not to be true. But rather than let it drop and accept the political fallout, she is doubling down. This is pure arrogance in action.
Or my new favorite...Little Rounding Error.
We consider her useless.
Shes not a fake leftist. No DNA test required.
