Funny how that works. Practically no one has an ethnically homogeneous family tree—I’ve found ancestors that hailed from all over Europe and the Middle East, and most Americans likely would find the same if they went back far enough.
If your great-grandmother (from whence your kinship with Queen Elizabeth originates) was Scottish, then you are 1/8th British and likely have a lot more English blood than I do. My kinship with QE comes from my Irish great-great-great-great-grandfather, who was largely of English (well, Anglo-Norman) ancestry, so I’m only 1/64th of British Isles descent. It’s a trivial percentage of my ancestry, but I’m still more Anglo-Irish than Senator Fauxcahontas (aka Liawatha) is Native American.
Interesting!
I have a theory that someday, we all will be light shades of brown.
I could be wrong but with intermarriage and such it just seems like people faLl in love and have mixed race babies
Well I don’t know I hope I live long enough to see what’s going to happen:-)
