I didn’t see. It might have been theirs. I’m not sure whose poll it was. Doesn’t matter; they’re all the same. That independents are breaking for Democrats like nobody forecast, like nobody knew. Independents. And they’re interpreting this as meaning that the country has finally had it with Trump, finally fed up with Trump — and, of course, by association, the Republicans. And then that poll started focusing on health care and…
Well, another poll on health care and specifically preexisting conditions. And the Democrats saw that, that health care has become a major issue in polling data; so they are reviving the idea that Republicans want to take away everybody’s insurance, people who have preexisting conditions. Republicans don’t want to take it away. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Republicans don’t want to take it away.
Well, I could, in any other period of the year, make the case that it’s not even insurance and it ought not be discussed in terms of health insurance because insuring people after they’re diagnosed, specifically with a terminal disease, whatever you do for ’em, it’s not insurance! But it doesn’t matter because we live in an era where health insurance means somebody else pays for it. And if you are not going to luck out and have somebody else pay for it simply because you’ve already got a disease, then you’re gonna think it’s unfair.
And you’re gonna yell and scream that it’s unfair, and a political party or two are gonna hear you, and they’re gonna champion the cause of preexisting conditions. I’ll tell you a little secret. Obamacare set up a separate funding mechanism for preexisting conditions, and it required people with preexisting conditions to register in a pool. Because it isn’t insurance, it was separate funding pool. It was a separate way that people were going to be treated or helped if they had preexisting conditions.
I haven’t seen it. Even the leftist media has been saying the polls are close.....which means that the Dems are getting slaughtered next month.
Everything I’m seeing is that the house races are all trending toward the republicans.
Rush gets hysterical at times. We know not to fall for the phony polls, we are going to vote.
It is, in fact, Welfare alms as it were.
“Pre-Existing Conditions” is new-speaks for HIV-AIDS (for the LGBTQWERTY community, “cancer” for the media and families with cancer already diagnosed, and (soon to be) old-age terminal “care” ...
