Not sure I agree with this article, but it does make some interesting points.
However, given that a house divided cannot stand (and America is certainly a divided house now), it looks more like CWII has just begun.

Article needs some edits.
“High Water Mark” = everything is downhill from here.
As in “Gettysburg was the high water mark of the Confederacy”
I think the author meant to say “largest victory so far...”

The Kavanaugh confirmation is the high water mark of the conservative resurgence in America

Looks like Trump injected some spine into the Republican party. McConnell and Graham fought like tigers for Kavanaugh. Even Collins.

In what way are conservatives winning? Abortion is still legal, gays can marry and any one who refuses to cooperate is driven out of business, we're still flirting with wars in the Middle East, we still haven't had a balanced budget in decades, there's no wall, and even with a wall we still allow way too many people in with no skills who become a welfare expense.
Oh, wait a second, there was a tax cut. Oh that was reeeeal difficult to get through. Nobody wants a tax cut. Imagine that. Republicans got us a tax cut. Whoopee!

Actually Author should of stuck with the Churchill quote in the title. it is far more apt.
At the Second Battle of El Alamein (23 October 4 November 1942) Allied forces broke the Axis line and forced them all the way back to Tunisia. Winston Churchill, the British Prime Minister at the time, said of this victory: "Now this is not the end; it is not even the beginning of the end. It is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

Let’s be honest about the Democrats next strategy, ANY nomination after the midterms will be considered TOO close to 2020 to consider any Trump nominee.
The DEMS and the MSM will push the we have to wait until after 2020 mantra.

I think this is the best sentence from the article,
These are the behaviors not of winners, but of cornered rats. We are winning."It is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
