Haven’t seen it. Wow they don’t use manual can openers?

This points out that many Americans, especially the young and minorities are monarchial in their thinking. They can’t vote directly against Trump, so they won’t bother to vote at all.

US Post Office policy is to deliver ALL mailed ballots regardless of postage. They simply charge the elections office for postage due.

No, this is the smart phone generation. “Snail mail” is as foreign to them as a telegraph would be to you or me, they have heard about it maybe, but never actually had to use it before.

You’re generalizing——I’ve sent a few telegrams.

RE:”Even better. I did a quick internet search. There are at least 2 places on campus to buy stamps and mail letters.”

I guess the moral of this story is that young adults have not used US mail.

Their phones do everything but get them stamps.

Well, there you go. One less excuse for not mailing out a ballot.

Perhaps the Dem’s internal polls are telling them “no Blue Wave” and this is just one of many excuses (like the old Republicans are keeping black folk from voting!) to get their base to riot should they be hit with a Red Tsunami? If so, it sure is a silly narrative to say that young voters can’t figure out how to mail in their ballots. But then so is that racist baloney that one hears prior to every election.

I know for a fact in AZ and CA there’s no need for postage. Just drop it in the mail.

This sounds like fake news to me.

When I last voted in Washington state, you needed postage. In fact there was a blurb stating that a simple stamp wouldn't suffice because of the size of the envelope.

States differ.

Does Telex count?

States differ.

That's likely true. Unfortunate but true. It should be nationwide postage free ballots.

But 49 cents may be all it takes.... - 49 cents?- what, do ballots go for a bargain rate at a penny below the official price of a stamp, now 50 cents? - in any event it's obviously an attempt to keep minorities, who surely can't afford the price of any stamp, from voting......

Even better. I did a quick internet search. There are at least 2 places on campus to buy stamps and mail letters.

You can also buy stamps online. That's what I did last time I bought some.
