Hillary Clinton’s security clearance withdrawn
Washington Examiner ^ | October 12, 2018 | Caitlin Yilek

Posted on 10/13/2018 10:48:18 PM PDT by Brown Deer

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton no longer has a security clearance.

Clinton had her security clearance withdrawn in August “at her request,” State Department official Charles Faulkner wrote to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, in a letter released Friday. Five other individuals whom Clinton had designated as researchers had their clearances withdrawn in September.

The letter was dated a day after the clearances for Cheryl Mills and four other names, which were redacted, were withdrawn. Mills served as Clinton’s chief of staff during her tenure at the State Department.

“At her request, former Secretary Clinton’s security clearance was administratively withdrawn on August 30, 2018,” the letter said. “On September 20, 2018, security clearances were administratively withdrawn for Cheryl Mills, [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. As we previously informed the committee, these individuals had been granted access to classified information through a request made by Secretary Clinton designating them as researchers.”

The letter to Grassley was part of the department’s investigation into the mishandling of classified information when Clinton used a private email server when she was the nation’s top diplomat.

Clinton request came a week after President Trump revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan. The status of Clinton’s clearance at the time was not publicly known.

Once you are out of Washington you should have no access to any classified information. The only exception would be as a consultant on a need to know basis.

Her request? They expect people to believe she requested to lose something valuable. 😂 The press just loves protecting this skank!

Requesting it is better for her than seeing if they will revoke it due to her numerous security violations. If it was revoked, she will never get it back, and her career in government is over. This is showing she still wants to be president.

Request = attempt at face-saving.
It will be funny to see how she and the presstitudes will spin it when asked about it.

Exactly! This is a case of, "You can't fire me - because I QUIT!"

All done only to avoid having her security clearance revoked. (Probably, her "Deep State" friends tipped her off in advance - advising her to voluntarily renounce it.)

Regards,

I suppose I will always look for ulterior motives when their names are involved...

First thought that entered my mind was "There's about to be a truckload of dirt leaked, all involving Repub candidates, that she'll deny any knowledge of or access to".

She's establishing an alibi for something...

Her spokesperson said she surrendered it in solidarity for Brennan who lost his. I don’t believe it. I think she knew she was going to lose it and tried to get ahead of the action so she could control the story, typical Clinton behavior.

SOURCE: http://observer.com/2016/03/hillary-has-an-nsa-problem/

........one of the most controversial of Ms. Clinton’s emails released by the State Department under judicial order was one sent on June 8, 2011, to the Secretary of State by Sidney Blumenthal, Ms. Clinton’s unsavory friend and confidant who was running a private intelligence service for Ms. Clinton.

This email contains an amazingly detailed assessment of events in Sudan, specifically a coup being plotted by top generals in that war-torn country. Mr. Blumenthal’s information came from a top-ranking source with direct access to Sudan’s top military and intelligence officials, and recounted a high-level meeting that had taken place only 24 hours before.

To anybody familiar with intelligence reporting, this unmistakably signals intelligence, termed SIGINT in the trade. In other words, Mr. Blumenthal, a private citizen who had enjoyed no access to U.S. intelligence for over a decade when he sent that email, somehow got hold of SIGINT about the Sudanese leadership and managed to send it, via open, unclassified email, to his friend Ms. Clinton only one day later.

NSA officials were appalled by the State Department’s release of this email, since it bore all the hallmarks of Agency reporting. Back in early January when I reported this, I was confident that Mr. Blumenthal’s information came from highly classified NSA sources, based on my years of reading and writing such reports myself, and one veteran agency official told me it was NSA information with “at least 90 percent confidence.”

We can confirm that the contents of Sid Blumenthal’s June 8, 2011, email to Hillary Clinton, sent to her personal, unclassified account, were indeed based on highly sensitive NSA information. The agency investigated this compromise and determined that Mr. Blumenthal’s highly detailed account of Sudanese goings-on, including the retelling of high-level conversations in that country, was indeed derived from NSA intelligence.

Specifically, this information was illegally lifted from four different NSA reports, all of them classified “Top Secret / Special Intelligence.” Worse, at least one of those reports was issued under the GAMMA compartment, which is an NSA handling caveat that is applied to extraordinarily sensitive information (for instance, decrypted conversations between top foreign leadership, as this was). GAMMA is properly viewed as a SIGINT Special Access Program, or SAP, several of which from the CIA Ms. Clinton compromised in another series of her “unclassified” emails.

Currently serving NSA officials have told me they have no doubt that Mr. Blumenthal’s information came from their reports. “It’s word-for-word, verbatim copying,” one of them explained. “In one case, an entire paragraph was lifted from an NSA report” that was classified Top Secret / Special Intelligence.

How Mr. Blumenthal got his hands on this information is the key question, and there’s no firm answer yet. The fact that he was able to take four separate highly classified NSA reports—none of which he was supposed to have any access to—and pass the details of them to Hillary Clinton via email only hours after NSA released them in Top Secret / Special Intelligence channels indicates something highly unusual, as well as illegal, was going on.

Suspicion naturally falls on Tyler Drumheller, the former CIA senior official who was Mr. Blumenthal’s intelligence fixer, his supplier of juicy spy gossip, who conveniently died last August before email-gate became front-page news. However, he, too, had left federal service years before and should not have had any access to current NSA reports. There are many questions here about what Hillary Clinton and her staff at Foggy Bottom were up to, including Sidney Blumenthal, an integral member of the Clinton organization, despite his lack of any government position.

How Mr. Blumenthal got hold of this Top Secret-plus reporting is only the first question. Why he chose to email it to Ms. Clinton in open channels is another question. So is: How did nobody on Secretary Clinton’s staff notice that this highly detailed reporting looked exactly like SIGINT from the NSA?

Last, why did the State Department see fit to release this email, unredacted, to the public?

An Associated Press report found that more than half of State Dept Secy Hillary Clinton’s meetings or phone calls with government outsiders were conducted with donors for the Clinton Foundation.

Clinton’s ties with Lebanese-Nigerian donor Gilbert Chagoury deserved heightened scrutiny.

“The fact that a major Clinton Foundation donor was denied entry into the U.S. over ties to the terrorist group Hezbollah is deeply troubling, especially when this individual had access to top aides at Hillary Clintons State Department.” "Several of the documents showed that the Department of State considered buying land for a U.S. Embassy in Nigeria from Chagoury after Clinton’s tenure ended. Clinton’s ties to Chagoury, who donated more than $1 million to the Clinton Foundation, raised several red flags after it came to light that Chagoury had been denied entry into the U.S. last year because of a suspected affiliation with Hezbollah through Lebanese politics."

She lost the clearance specifically to prevent her from having ability to track and preempt investigations of her operations.

Same with Clapper and the others. They now fly blind, with no ability to know what is under investigation.

My guess is Monday morning a whole batch of new investigations will be opened, based on present grand jury relevations.

And she will know what everyone else knows about the target sand track of these cases... nothing. Those allies she does have on the inside are now also aware that any data they provide her is a direct violation of law, subject to termination and prosecution.

This is all new territory. Never before has a high level person in government literally copied, and put in vulnerable domain... the highest level intelligences of the entire national security apparatus.

Spies have done similar, in isolated cases, limited by compartment. She tore the doors off the barn, and started selling the animals and tools.

A nice algorithm could link foundation donar, transaction dates, and specific data drop dates. Then we will find out... people were literally ordering and paying for specific intelligence that subsequently found its way into her network.

Nothing of this magnitude has ever happened before.

=============================

REFERENCE: From 2001-2005 there was an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Guess who took over this investigation in 2002? None other than Comey. Comey was the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from January 2002 to December 2003. A Grand Jury had been empanelled. Governments from around the world had donated to the “Clinton Charity”. Yet, from 2001 to 2003 none of those “Donations” to the Clinton Foundation were declared.

nypost.com

Then-State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman gave the Clinton Foundation a pass on identifying foreign donors in its charitable filings — making it impossible to know if it got any special favors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, according to a Scripps News report.

Scripps News found that the foundation and its subsidiary, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, took in $225 million in government donations between 2010 and 2014. New York’s charity law clearly states: “Organizations that received a contribution or grant from a government agency during the reporting period shall include the name of each agency from which contributions were received and the amount of each contribution.”

But both the foundation and the CHAI failed to do that, and Schneiderman, a member of Clinton’s “leadership council” in New York and a fierce critic of Donald Trump, did nothing about it.

Other charities complied, including the George W. Bush foundation, which reported receiving $5 million from Saudi Arabia and $500,000 from Kuwait.

On its website, the Clinton Foundation reveals its foreign donors, but using only broad ranges, such as $5 million to $10 million, without any time frames. The IRS doesn’t require such disclosures.

Hillary and smirking suck-up, Eric Schneiderman (right). Schneiderman was recently ousted from office.
