BAD advice. Think collectibles. My mom gave away my old comic collection to some of my younger cousins. First editions of Fantastic Four, SpiderMan, Iron Man, Hulk, and more Marvel comix. Probably worth over a million bux to collectors.
Yeah, anything that was worth anything got sold.
99.99% of the stuff you have is the same crap as anyone else. I spent my life being told the stuff my parents had were antique or unique. Old does not equate to valuable.
YOU may have had all of the great first edition stuff. If you did, great. I sympathize with your loss.
But the original poster was talking about holding onto rags for God’s sake.
