Photo #11 is pretty amazing. Everything is gone except for one house, and that house has little or no damage - no shingles gone, no windows broken.

That architect and builder are going to be rich and famous.

I was astonished by that one too. Whatever that construction is, that's what works and that's proof. Wow.

You beat me to it. Good call. The construction education "photo of the year." What is the first thing anyone thinks when they see this? Have the engineer, architect, and builder design and build a bunch of them.

Require some standards. So many of those (former) buildings look flimsy. You're in hurricane country, folks!

Insurance companies might want to take a look at this situation, too. I really would rather not keep paying my insurance to rebuild your junk houses.

House in decent shape, but why is it there? Ask the people who built the lone house in the first picture.

Tough houses can be built. You might have to pay more. Did you enjoy living in a motel for a year while your new junky one one is being built? Yes, it was a nasty hurricane. Have you forgotten the house in the first photo? Not luck or a fluke. That house is saying to the hurricane, "Is that all you got, wimp?" (Or it's a photoshop.)

Similar photos from earlier storms have been pictures of homes built using SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) instead of the conventional stick framing. SIPs are built using a foam core with a sandwich of plywood or similar material, typically 4x8 feet sized panels. Such houses are considerably stronger and offer more resistance to wind forces. I have no idea how this home was constructed.
