No fence is going to be perfect, but I’d be satisfied with that style across the entire border so citizens can see when and where people are coming in and can intercept them.
It will also make a nice place to toss the invaders back over the top.
That design IMO makes it easier for breeches. We’ve got plenty of tech that can ease surveillance without actually making it so easy to scale or pass contraband across.
