My absentee vote from Europe was one of those few that made George Bush the winner in Palm Beach county, Fla. and therefor President of the United States.I do NOT think Americans should be deprived of the right to vote simply because some idiots think it is “Easier” to control fraud.
I disagree as I would not have been able to vote if it did not exist; but there definitely needs to be some checks and balances there such as not automatically sending ballots every year. At least make then reapply. If a person isn’t able to apply for one due to such things as dementia, they are unable to cast a reasoned ballot, imo.
