But we've been taught that the "Victorian Age" was all stuck-up and sexless and a really dark age in so many ways. Any good Progressive teacher will tell you all about it. Most of them know nothing about it, really. If I had a test for Expert on Victorian Age, my first question would be, "Have you ever read the book Middlemarch?" And if they said Yes, they'd have to prove it. I'd question them for 5 minutes on it.
