The whole gary condit thing drove me away from all tv news. The media didn’t have any race/sex/religion/lbgtqlmnop/poc/immgrant/womenchildrenhardesthit angle to play there but still turned a local missing persons law enfrocement issue into an all consuming news story that blacked out nearly all real news.
