I am wondering if Session was a plant from the get-go, cleverly supported Trump just in case he would win, part of the “insurance policy.”
Sessions is the guy known for “who needs enemies with him as your friend?”
I believe, however, the “insurance” was and still is the assassination of our President—God forbid.
In 1963 the Deep State had a memo “Lancer has been talking openly about this. We know if Lancer continues to do this we will have to go wet to stop him.”
Lancer was JFK and he was “wet” by bleeding in Dallas a few days later. As with all JFK stories, some say the memo was a forgery and others say the CIA was part of it all to stop JFK from hurting the Deep State of that era. Who knows?

I have said this many times on FR. In my opinion, NO MANAGER in any type of organization could be as passive and detached as Sessions has been unless it was by design. He is either the most incompetent person on the planet or a highly placed plant put there specifically to allow the Deep State to undermine Trump. To me, the answer is the latter.
Rod Rosenstein is the defacto AG and he is neck deep in the plot to undermine, obstruct and even remove the president. Sessions could have easily come out of hiding and protected his agency from obvious conflicts of interest, corrupt management, stonewalling, and concealing evidence. But he didn’t even lift a finger to protect the reputation and integrity of his own agency.
The only possible conclusion is that he is a tool of the Deep State, a deeply embedded plant whose sole purpose was to serve as an “insurance policy” whose payoff in case of an election “disaster” was to facilitate ongoing subversion against Trump.
