I suspect the law only applies to real threats, not supernatural nonsense.
I have a good friend that is head of a coven in Sacramento, Ca, and I think you’ll find that true witchcraft is not what it is portrayed to be. Hollywood got their hands on it to make money from their films.
White witchcraft means you worship Mother Nature; the Earth, and the God. Witches celebrate all that the earth is and the cycles of the year, which in turn are their holidays (The Sabbats and Esbats). They tune themselfs into nature and use the elements around them; the planets, the sun, moon, herbs, flowers, trees, crystals, and colors. This will all help in their spell work. The term ‘white witch’ is not used by witches because anyone can be both good and dark but they never use their craft for evil as whatever they send out comes back to them, threefold. They practice spells, rituals and other things. That term, white witch, was adopted as a way of showing people who don’t understand witchcraft that you are not evil and only do good magic. The term is not really used anymore.
So, they do not worship Satan or any other demon from the underworld. They celebrate nature and worship god like we do. Many of us have rituals in our churches, just a little different. And they don’t kill animals in them. Just like other religions they ask for forgiveness, health for the ill, a good future, and a chance at heaven as thjey have a belief in heaven and hell. It is just another religion, and is not pagan as it has a belief in Jesus and his word. And a whole lot safer to others than Islam or other religions intent upon harming or killing to appease their god and being willing to die trying for a reward to do it.

“I suspect the law only applies to real threats, not supernatural nonsense.”
There is more to a public threat than just the threat itself. The law enforcement term, “copycat,” comes into the game.
One of the basic reasons for laws, and law enforcement, to include arrest, trial, and sentence, is to discourage others from hearing about it and trying to get in on the action.
A good example of this is the wild west of the late 1800’s. It wasn’t as wild as people tried to make it. But in those days if, like many of the ways they did things, someone took a shot at you the day before, it was accepted that you could walk up behind them the next day and put some of the body parts on the ground in front of them with a weapon. It certainly got people’s attention that it might be really stupid to do it the day before and slowed it up a lot.
In our society today, people break the law and are not taken to toll, like in this case, because it’s popular with the media and is sold more like a Robin Hood than a Ted Bundy. Look at the Zodiac killer. He was never found but he was front page news for a long time in northern California.
But this breeds copiers. So if the copier can see that it can’t be accomplished without paying the price, it won’t stop it, but it might cut it back.

Can I ask you just WHAT belief they have about Jesus? Muslims have a belief about Jesus. Satan has a belief about Jesus. Lots of religions have a “belief about Jesus”. It’s not that a person has a BELIEF that matters. It’s WHAT they BELIEVE about Him that saves or condemn us
Anton LaVey (First Church of Satan) is not like your friend.
Isis worshipers in Egypt were not like your friend.
Hillary’s “advisor”, Podesta, is not like your friend.
Your friend is not the “typical” person into the Occult.
surprises? Yes.
Cool. So tonight I am putting a hex on every witch on this planet. Why stop at one ?
Wonder if the DC ComDems have their own Coven?
Hillary might know 1/2 of them.
Thank you for asking. I am not a witch myself, but I have talked some with my friend obviously as a friend.
According to Patti Wigington, a Pagan author and educator who holds workshops and classes on Paganism throughout the U.S. and is a Pagan High Priestess and licensed Pagan clergy in the state of Ohio:
Wicca and witchcraft are not synonymous. One can be a witch without being Wiccan. Wicca itself is a specific religion. Those who follow itWiccanshonor the deities of their particular tradition of Wicca. They don’t honor the Christian god, at least not in the way that Christianity mandates that he be honored. In addition, Christianity has some pretty strict rules about what gods you get to worshippretty much none other than theirs. You know, there’s that “thou shall have no other gods before me” bit. By the rules of Christianity, it’s a monotheistic religion, while Wicca is polytheistic. These make them two very distinct and very different religious belief systems.
So, if you go strictly by the very definition of the words, one could not be a Christian Wiccan any more than one could be a Hindu Muslim or a Jewish Mormon. There are Christians who practice witchcraft within a Christian framework, but this is not Wicca. Do keep in mind that there are people who declare themselves to be Christian Wiccans, or even ChristoPagans, honoring Jesus and Mary as god and goddess together.
The term Christian determines a belief in Christ and what he means to a Christian. So can you be a witch and be Christian? It is believed to be so and is happening.

Please dont think the same thing Hollywood has created for you. In this website:
https://www.thoughtco.com/paths-of-the-western-occult-tradition-95718
is a good list of western occult organizations. Youll notice a few interesting things within the list:
First that Satanism is listed to include the person you mentioned, its founder Anton LaVey.
Second, Wicca is in there, and
third witch craft is not on the list. And that is because it does not follow as a pagan religion by definition, the lack of an acceptance of Christ. It may be a little confusing, but have an open mind and weigh the information you can find and where you get it. I hope you’re surprised.

Laughable. Witchcraft has less chance of affecting something in the real world than an atomic test has of awakening Godzilla.
True. But they do serve the wrong master.
Evil does exist. We cannot always see it, but it is real. There are things in this world that we cannot explain with logic or science, that are none the less real.
It may be the devil or it may be the lord..
But ya gotta serve somebody.
If Kavanuagh is right with the Lord, he has nothing to worry about regarding witches’ hexes or curses:
“A curse without cause will not alight”...
https://biblehub.com/proverbs/26-2.htm
Jesus became the curse for us; we have nothing to fear...’He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world”!
https://biblehub.com/1_john/4-4.htm
And so:
Lord Jesus, we pray right now that every curse, spell, hex, incantation and imprecation that is prayed against Kavanugh or any so called right leaning Christian in this nation would be broken and cast down by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray that any so-called witch or any who wittingly or even unwittingly bow the knee to Satan and would engage in this sort of wickedness, we pray that just as You revealed Yourself in power to Paul on the road to Damascus, that You, Lord God would reveal the folly and damnation involved to any who would dare invoke Satan’s power to curse another human being.
We pray this in the mighty Name above all Names, O Lord Jesus have mercy!
Amen
Amen!
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
I suspect the law only applies to real threats, not supernatural nonsense.
If they were to prosecute this as a crime, even if the judge believes it is nonsense, the witches could be questioned under oath whether they believe their spells have power and they actually intended to do harm; and if they answer yes, they admit to a crime. If they say no, they admit they are hoaxes.
Sort of like the ducking stool, only updated.
“...they admit they are hoaxes.”
If they did that, they would be admitting, either, to being a tool of the liberals or the media. Or since they acted in a manner that they were still intent upon making it seem real so the public would believe they were legitimate, that’s fraud. Fraud means they go to jail. And we all know what happens to people admitting to interacting and providing protection or actions to assist the media or the liberals and gets caught, don’t we? Another case of devil or the deep blue sea.
