It’s nothing but a fishing expedition. A first glance to ask even more questions.
It’s quite likely his 1040 is pretty boring except for the fact that the numbers are likely much bigger. To really find out if he were doing something untoward, they’d need the returns of his businesses and they’ll never see those.
All Trump has to do is say this:
1) I follow Federal and State tax laws - all of them.
2) Sometimes they’ve hurt me, sometimes I’ve used them to my advantage - just as all of you have or would do.
3) I’ve paid every penny I owe.
4) The IRS and NYS Dept. of Finance know where to find me in the event of an issue and I’ve been audited.
5 Don’t like the tax laws I’ve used to my advantage? Elect Congressmen that will change the laws!

An anonymous source told me that the Dems ALREADY have copies of DJT’s tax returns. As you may know, the Dems have corrupt “friends” at the IRS.
So their problem is, the Dems can’t legally trot out their deliberately misleading “analysis” of those returns UNLESS President Trump authorizes the release of those returns to them.
In other words, this Dem “dirty trick” has been TRUMPED!
