I do well and my wife does better than I. Its not a contest; we just kill it staying out of debt and living happy.
I think with these two in this day in age the age difference was too much.
For the first 10 years my wife and I were married I made significantly more than she did.
For the second 10 years, she made about 24 K per year more than me.
For the 3’rd 10 years I again made about 30 K more per year than she did.
For 4’th 10 years she caught up and surpassed me again.
Were working on the 5’th 10 years and I got to retire 8 years before she did, HA HA.
Now we are both retired and both our retirements are pretty good.
I think (I’m not sure) her retirement is about 6 grand better than mine.
Now I just tell her what I need to run the farm and it just shows up; IT’S LIKE MAGIC!!!!
