Agreed. Roberts sat on the complaints until the circus in Washington, D.C. was over. But he couldn’t personally bury the complaints, since then he’d be accused of a cover-up. So instead he followed procedure and punted it to a neutral circuit court. In all likelihood that circuit court will review the complaints and decide there’s no validity to them and dismiss them all. And that will be that.
