I agree. Liberals are misguided idiots, often responsible for an enormous waste of funds and great weakness vs. foreign enemies. But they abide by certain rules (like, for instance, if you lose an election you go home, lick your wounds and try harder the next time around). Leftists, OTOH, are only out to obtain or increase their power at everyone else’s expense, and allow not one single rule of civilized behavior to constrain them. They are also misguided idiots...but extremely dangerous ones, especially those who pull strings. Liberals are the “useful idiots” that Leftists use to accomplish their goals.
Leftists set up the gulags and the concentration camps, and murder people by the tens of millions; liberals do none of those things.
