Everywhere I’ve looked shows Nikki Haley having been born in Bamberg, South Carolina. Bamberg even has her as a notable citizen as a result.
What source do you use that shows her born elsewhere?
“Citizen at birth” is not the standard.
That was specifically rejected by the founders in favor of the more restrictive “natural born citizen”.
The children of foreign nationals inherit the nationality of their foreign parent(s).
One can only be a natural born citizen with two citizen parents.
One is only NATURALLY a citizen when one CANNOT be anything else.
Natural born citizens have only one nationality.
That was the point of the requirement.
