Yes, they are so excited that there’s a possibility of death and destruction!

The time is soon coming that nobody will pay the weather hoaxters any mind at all.
Crying wolf and all that...

The display I saw on TV last night showed it as a cat 3, diminishing to cat 1 at landfall. Has that changed in 10 hours?

“Hurricane Andrew in 1992 inspired tougher building codes in Florida. But many older houses aren’t built to withstand a beast like Michael.”
Well, I guess those that have homes built prior to 1992 will get new ones after this!
Hope people are taking this seriously and have gotten out of the way.

Then it flops when the hurricane doesnt do as much damage as expected.Behind closed doors they likely mourn that the death toll is not into the hundreds.

I yearn for the days when Democrats were in charge and no hurricanes made landfall.

No need to point that out, but many things that used to work no longer seem to work, much to the dismay of lying liberals.

You are correct. This is a big storm. This is the Gulf Coast. Hurricanes, some big, happen just as tornadoes happen in the mid-west in the spring. Storm events are one of the risks of living in both places. Here in Louisiana we know we are overdue for some type of storm event. The flooding in 2016, which few outside of the state even know about, flooded probably as many structures as Katrina. It didn't happen in a big city and most impacted were middle/lower middle class white people so there were no photo ops of bathetic blacks clamoring for gubmint to gimme that and ‘do something’. You are correct this is a dangerous storm. There will be more. The media goes into hysteria mode now about every storm event. That is what is nauseating. How did Americans ever cope with floods, storms, and other disasters before the brilliant folks in the media were around to tell them what to think.

It may be the strongest on record, but those records are only 100 years old.
There are historic accounts of monster storms hitting the Gulf Coast before the days of record keeping and official stats.

Our local ABC affiliate was saying this morning that there could still be hurricane force winds when it exits the coast of NC. Made me chuckle.

The media’s gonna be the media. How did Americans cope in the past? They usually died in droves. The Galveston hurricane was comparable to Michael and 8,000 people died.

Why Hurricane Michael is monster unlike any other Because it was accused of grabbing a young woman when it was just a tropical storm?

The Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900, was the deadliest natural disaster in U.S history, and killed between 6,000 and 12,000 people.
Nobody in Texas knew it was coming, since the weather service guessed it had spun north and east into the Atlantic like most hurricanes.

“Need I point out that it worked for Obama in 2012? “
Hmmm, there were NO hurricanes hitting the US for most of Obama’s reign. I find that timing to be very suspicious. lol
