Its here.
Gosnell: The Trial of Americas Biggest Serial Killer debuts in theaters nationwide on Oct. 12. I do believe this groundbreaking film by indie producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney is the most important movie in America right now a true-life saga of good vs. evil, deadly medical malpractice, systemic government malfeasance and cultural apathy toward the most vulnerable members of our society.
I first reported on this real-life horror story nearly eight years ago, but youve probably not heard or read a word about Gosnell in the mainstream press, TV news or online. The conspiracy of silence is the result of both malign neglect and active suppression of inconvenient truths.

Operating under the cover of providing reproductive health services, death doc Gosnell brutally executed hundreds of healthy, living, breathing, squirming, viable babies by stabbing them in their necks and severing spinal cords with scissors and knives. This twisted murderer kept newborn baby feet in specimen jars, which he crammed into the grisly refrigerators of his filthy clinic for research.

TPTB simply want to bury this entire story and are doing their best to do so.
Watched a trailer. I caught a short interview with the journalists behind the movie. They also wrote a book. I keep up with news and hadnt heard there was a book until today.
Closest showing to me is an hour away. Trying to make that justifiable since I can’t eat movie theater popcorn anymore.
So don’t eat at the movies-——I haven’t since I was a kid.
Complete ripoff!
.
Ive seen no trailers. No interviews on TV. Not even Fox.
I suppose that is some way I should be reasured that I have no comprehension of Kermit Gosnell’s mental derangement. Thinking of him as a kind of pedophilic Joseph Mengele is the closest I can come.

The name of Americas most prolific serial killer is Kermit Gosnell. He avoided the death penalty by waiving his right to appeal, and is serving life without parole. His story is told in the movie, Gosnell: The Trial of Americas Biggest Serial Killer. It opens nationwide this Friday, October 12.Excerpted from Jonathan Lange's October 9, 2018, The Federalist article, "How Americas Most Prolific Serial Killer Almost Got Away With Murder."
The most sensational trial of a serial killer in the history of America had virtually no reporters in the court room. The biggest crime since 1893 could not be covered because the reporters could not say why it was wrong.
One of those who noticed was Mollie Ziegler Hemingway. At the time she was a reporter for GetReligion.org. Nearly three weeks into Gosnells trial, there had yet to be any mainstream media coverage. So, on April 7, she published a story about the blackout. She followed up with six more, published between April 10 and April 16.
In the new Gosnell movie, Hemingway and [J.D.] Mullanes roles are woven together into a fictional character named Mollie Mullaney (played by Cyrina Fiallo). In many ways she is the heroine of the story, and a reminder of the vital need for an unflinching press corps.
For more info see these websites:
Mollie Hemingway's April 12, 2013 Get Religion article, "WPost reporter explains her personal Gosnell blackout."
Trevin Wax's April 18, 2013, TGC article, "How Mollie Hemingway Introduced the Nation to Kermit Gosnell."
Terry Mattingly's September 22, 2018, Get Religion article, "That old media-bias question again: What will NPR call someone who performs abortions?", which includes a FoxNews interview of Mollie Hemingway discussing the lack of media coverage of the Gosnell murders. (BTW, Mollie also admits in the interview that she did sometimes vote for a Demonicrat.)
I’ve read the book by McAleer and McElhinney (actually, listened to the audio book read by McElhinney) and it’s just...it’s unimaginable. But it happened. It really happened.

I didn’t finish my thought. I don’t eat at the local theaters. Quit that a few years ago. A 2 hour round trip just isn’t worthwhile, so I’m trying to make time for a whole day (4 hour round trip commute) so I can visit Chick Fil A for the first time in 30 years before the movie.
I’ll also take my own popcorn. Since the wife certainly doesn’t want to see it, the showing will cost me less than the 2 of us at a movie with snacks, ironically.
Aside from the day, of course...

GOSNELL MOVIE PRODUCERS NEVER TRUSTED PRO-LIFERS. BRUTAL MURDER EVIDENCE CHANGED THAT
There is no way in hell I could see such a movie. Why would I want to? Who would ever want to? Good Lrd. I am glad this murderer is getting some attention. But who wants to see this kind of sick torture of innocents?
Please don’t dismiss the movie despite its grisly subject matter. The film is very well done, and not graphic. The filmmakers raised the financing from small donors on social media. It’s an important story that was buried by the mainstream media when it happened.
I drove two hours to attend the premiere because I think it is an important film.
Powerful work.
Where can I see it in SWFL?
Will open at Regal in Port Charlotte 10/12.

To be clear, my own 2 hour drive - the closest - is to a liberal pit of a college town. I’m actually surprised it’s showing there.
I have friends/family in the longer drive; I’ve just never set aside a day for a movie. Concert, yes. This would be a first and I agree, desiring to see for myself.
