A former House Democratic staffer accused of posting personal information about a Republican senator online was ordered held without bail Tuesday ahead of his pending trial.
Federal prosecutors say 27-year-old Jackson Cosko used his work login to post private information about Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, from a computer in a House of Representatives office during the Sept. 27 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing about sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Cosko was working as a staffer for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas. He had previously worked with Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., and former Sen. Barbara Boxer of California. He also worked or interned with the office of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

In denying Cosko bail, U.S. Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson said prosecutors had shown that no conditions could ensure the community’s safety if the suspect was released.

Glad to see they’re playing hardball with this turkey. I suspect they’re going to make an example of him which works for me. He put the Senators’ & their families lives in danger with what he did so he can just pay the price. He looks like a real snowflake - jail will not agree with him. He’s likely to spill the beans on who was paying him, etc.
Too bad he isn’t a Pakistani national with closer ties to the DNC. If that were the case his sentence would amount to the five days already served. I wonder if he has been thrown into the jail’s general population? Soy boy could be having the time of his life squealing like a pig the whole day long.

From his photograph I can guess he will certainly be doing a bunch of “hard time”. He will have a lot of guys fighting over his rear. Trouble is he looks like the type who would enjoy it. I would not doubt that a couple of years from now we will read a story about him suing the state to pay for hormone treatment in prison.
It would be great if he copped out on several other DNC crime schemes to get a more lenient sentence.
If he used the computers of Sheila Jackson Lee there should be a forensic examination of those devices. It might even shed light on the mystery envelope she slipped to Dr. Ford’s lawyers.
He is one handsome devil. Will be very popular in prison.
