Democrats are hoping to make gains in Republican-leaning congressional districts by running moderates with biographies that appeal to center-right voters including veterans, gun owners, and football players, and in doing so have distanced themselves from the far-left of the Democratic Party. Yet despite packaging themselves as reasonable centrists, Democrats running in Texas and Kentucky are teaming up with a motivational speaker who has a history of hostile rhetoric and negative views of middle America.
Retired Lt. Col. Amy McGrath and former Tennessee Titans linebacker Colin Allred are running in Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District and Texas’ 32nd District, respectively. Both candidates have been campaigning as centrists, and neither have endorsed extreme positions like, for example, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But despite their carefully crafted images, they have been working with far-left-wing activist and motivational speaker Laura Gassner Otting.
According to her website, Otting is a professional motivational speaker who “helps innovators, idealists, and critics get ‘unstuck’ in their thinking.” Before becoming a motivational speaker, she was a political appointee for the Bill Clinton White House and then worked for several nonprofits.

The second anyone says this, they have crossed the line whether they realize it or not.
Saying this, they have declared themselves the mortal enemies of my nation, my self, my family. And they will be viewed in this light.

People will resort to profanity when their limited vocabulary deprives them of adequate means of expressing themselves. As the quality of education declines in this country, you can expect the amount of profanity coming out of educated people to increase.
Doesn’t every member of Congress, and the President, take an oath to uphold the Constitution?
Does that alone not constitute a promise?
Maybe you should consider another filter to use to weed out the phonies. Absent the Bible, how will you determine who has the moral fiber and backbone to govern correctly?
Absent the Bible you have the constitution.
There are ways to change it. Either by amendment or by calling a constitutional convention. The left won’t do either because they know they’ll lose.
That will make an awesome campaign ad.
The Party of NFL Kneelers has really gone out of their way to recruit veterans to run for these offices to try and cover themselves in the veneer of the flag.
No self-respecting veteran should ever fall for it.

What did I just say? Everyone takes an oath to do what you claim you will only vote for. But they rarely, if ever, do. Surely you know that.
So - what is your criteria for choosing who will live up to their ‘promise’ to uphold the Constitution?

McGrath is an Obama disciple when it comes to single payer ObamaCare “reform.” She’s also staunch gun control.

It’s cynically calculated to shock. They have this 1950’s image of conservatives and think we quail at expletives. At the same time,they imagine themselves bonding via vocabulary with their street thugs. The profanity is thought of as motivational.
Use it right back at them and they run away screeching and clutching their pearls.
If given the opportunity people like this would persecute Christians just like the reds in Spain did under the 2nd republic.
Plausible, but I have gone to university and worked and lived among them for decades, deep in the Left-most hives of California. This is the way they talk to one another, even when they expect no conservatives to be among them. Many use the F-bomb like their favorite punctuation mark. It’s a way of conveying sincerity or conviction.
The RUN as moderates, but when they become a member of the “club”, Rat leadership radicalizes them like a Muslim terrorist.
