I don’t think the entertainment industry allows anyone to succeed unless they align politically, so this shouldn’t surprise anyone.
What next? Miley Cyrus’s views or Billy Ray & Dolly Parton?
Ask them when their home was put to the torch and how many times have they've been shot at today.
“...take an UBER to Starbucks...”
I would rather ride a mule to Krispy Kreme!
This man expresses my view of Starbucks perfectly starting at 2:15.

Good point. I just reminded them it’s more like the French Revolution and there’s no comparison.
I call BS on this one. This was reported like a few hours after her statement.
“So the voters registering are all anti-Marsha?”
Probably not due to Swifts tweet. The registration deadline was approaching is most likely reason. No telling which way they’re leaning, TN doesn’t register by party
Funny how this all coinsides with the final vote on Kavanaugh and the new Democray push to claim they will impeach him if they get back the House. Even of they were successful they still can't get a 2/3rds majority in the Senate to carry out the deed.
I call Bovine Manure.
Registered voters does not mean actual voters.
And they are not all necessarily Democrats.
Hi Im Taylor Swift, Im from Pennsylvania and I am telling you Tennesseans how to vote. Cause... well Im just smarter and richer than you.
And I'd bet 90+% of what's left are under 18 years old.
Yup
That certainly won’t make any difference.
1) I seriously, seriously doubt they really registered this many people. I don’t trust vote.org at all.
2) This is national. So they registered 50,000 California weed heads and virtually no one in a midwestern swing state.
3) This age group is notorious for NOT voting.
In short, this is like Napoleon’s “600,000-man army” that invaded Russia, got there with 150,000 and by the time they got to Moscow had 90,000. Totally unreliable.
You are correct!
She’s not losing.
If they all told us to do different things we wouldn't know what to do, I could have a nervous breakdown
That's what makes this so disappointing. Swift churned out a tepid endorsement on Instagram, pissed off millions of her fans (who like me understood that she was probably a liberal but appreciated that she was staying above the fray), she turned off her comments section, and quietly slunk away.
When you can't even watch a football game without being subjected to politics (and only one side of it, naturally) Taylor Swift was one of the last "politics-free" institutions in America that both sides could enjoy and escape from all the rancor and discourse.
Not any more. Sad.
Drew, you summarized my thoughts and feelings perfectly.
Taylor made this endorsement AFTER her U.S. tour was done. Knowing this would truly piss off millions of her American Fans.
Taylor Swift was perfectly a-political and for all ages.
No More.
