Why doesn’t he start his new idea in his Home Country of India??? They have 1.3 Billion People, surely there is a market there

Yeah. Why come to North America, esp if there are so many qualified techies in India you can get at a deep discount?

True that, I am seeing a lot of what you posit on LinkedIn and the demand for talent (so called) from India and that region is waning. In my experience in many decades in high tech they are not good creators of new things, moreso in programming what they are told. This is all part of the COB (Cost of Business) and paying less to programmers to do remedial work versus US employees who by virtue of being from here are not as easy to exploit as it pertains to pay and benefits. Additionally Canada has never been a hotbed of new product innovation that I have seen, and any dreamy dreams that it will be is pie in the sky.
