I love being an expert on diseases for which there are NO objective tests and inflict a “certain demographic” with numerous vague symptoms which aren’t particularly serious but become for them “seriously debilitating.” It is like owning a money machine.

Listen, people have serious struggles with the pain inflicted. I have a co-worker who comes into work sometimes quietly crying to herself. I myself am wondering if I will be diagnosed by elimination with fibromyalgia, which is the only way they do it.
