This is just a guess, but I suspect the judiciary committee has info on Ford that if released would humiliate her. Besides the 7 FBI background checks on Kavanaugh, the committee has been doing it own investigation. That is why DIFI wanted the FBI files sealed and Ford doesn't want to pursue this any further.
