We didn't need Manchin's vote anyway. Daines would have came back from his daughter's wedding, and we had Pence to break the tie.

Ha! Now the MoveOn Soros goons have pulled their funding...and WV Dems are going to stay home over Manchin's betrayal.

SUCKER!

Ever since Manchin boosted his campaign by announcing he would vote for Kavanaugh, the Morrisey campaign has been airing ads showing Manchin’s relation to Mylan Pharm. This is nothing but a last ditch, scorched earth effort on the GOP candidate’s part. People in WV were well aware of this relationship, but are ALSO pro-Trump. Mylan Pharm is a major employer in a part of WV that is heavily RAT and I can’t see these ads doing anything but adding to Manchin’s lead.

Still gonna vote for him, but IMO Morrisey is done.

That is a good point. The only reason Chuck Schumer would have given his blessing to Manchin's voting for Kavanaugh was if Manchin were not the deciding vote.....which he wasn't.

For Manchin to have bucked Schumer would have cost Manchin in terms of getting on Senate committees, etc. So you are right. Manchin voted for Kavanaugh in order to save his own political ide.
