If it weren’t for the great General Norman Schwarzkopf, nobody would know the name Collin Powell.

Correct.

A friend of mine called out CP waaaaaaay back then as highly-overrated.

“If it weren’t for the great General Norman Schwarzkopf, nobody would know the name Collin Powell.”

A friend was stationed at Fort Stewart, GA when Stormin Norman was there.
He said Swarzkopf was the real deal. The best officer of any rank he saw during his 20 years in the military.

Powell always came off as a pampered prince at best.
