Passenger Vessel 1979) and one congress critter was honest enough to tell us, after we explained our case and why his help was needed, that we were very justified and he would like to help, but, he said, you guys are only a few thousand votes ... helping us would be just a waste of his time when there were so many other pressing issues.
Same for farmers and loggers who all faced the same issues: extreme laws and regulations, feel-good environmentalism, and an out-of-touch-with-nature public . I was just looking up your SC case and knowing that they take only cases that will support a lot of citizens, realized that the pesticides the farmers use DO effect billions? of people. Just like the hormones and stuff for cattle providing billions of hamburgers are very important, too.
