Educators denounce vote to confirm Kavanaugh who is unfit to serve on Supreme Court

NEA President: Only thing to do ‘for those who share disappointment in this moment: vote'

WASHINGTON - October 06, 2018 -

By a razor-thin margin, the U.S. Senate today confirmed Brett Kavanaugh to serve as an associate justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings ended with gripping testimony from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who shared under oath heart-wrenching and vivid memories of her sexual assault at the hands of Kavanaugh when they were high school students.

The following is a statement that can be attributed to NEA President Lily Eskelsen García:

“From the outset, it was clear that Judge Kavanaugh would not be the fair-minded jurist needed on the Supreme Court. The Senate confirmation process has only further demonstrated that he lacks the qualifications and temperament to hold one of the most powerful positions in our government. Judge Kavanaugh is simply unfit to serve on the highest court of the land. We must now hope that he can find the impartiality and necessary disposition needed to serve the nation as a Supreme Court justice.”

“The message sent by Senate Republicans to the nation, and in particular to our children, was loud and clear: It is acceptable to appoint a hyper-partisan justice who is beholden to the White House. It is acceptable to disregard the stories of sexual assault survivors. It is acceptable to disregard dishonesty under oath. Well, educators know that these things are never acceptable. There is only one thing left to do for those of us who share disappointment in this moment: vote.”

And oh yeah, NEA, maybe give a hoot about your teachers being able to actually teach. They currently mostly suck at doing so. But they are mostly loyal leftscum, and that’s what you really care about you vile scum, isn’t it?

“Heh, most of the “educators” in the NEA or not fit to be teachers.”

Didn’t used to be that way back in the 70s and 80s. But now since you can’t be fired for being a complete incompetent biased ahole in the classroom molding your and our children. Education institutions are a joke at the higher level. Small town rural public school systems still have school at their schools with local teachers who for the most part grew up in that community and went through that school system and became teachers themselves. I know of several such systems and I also know of systems that have been totally taken over by radical progressives who they cant fire. The last group is not the NEA.

I see they misspelled KKKavanaugh. They only used one ‘K’. They are supposed to be the educators union and they can’t even spell! No wonder public education is such a mess! (/s)

drain the NEA. and the ACLU: 6 Oct: GatestoneInstitute: ACLU's Opposition to Kavanaugh Sounds Its Death Knell by Alan M. Dershowitz ◾So why did the American Civil Liberties Union oppose a Republican nominee to the Supreme Court and argue for a presumption of guilt regarding sexual allegations directed against that judicial nominee? The answer is as clear as it is simple. It is all about pleasing the donors. The ACLU used to be cash poor but principle-rich. Now, ironically, after Trump taking office, the ACLU has never become so cash-rich, yet principle-poor. ◾The problem is that most of the money is not coming from civil libertarians who care about free speech, due process, the rights of the accused and defending the unpopular. It is coming from radical leftists in Hollywood, Silicon Valley and other areas not known for a deep commitment to civil liberties... ◾When the ACLU's national political director and former Democratic Party operative Faiz Shakir was asked why the ACLU got involved in the Kavanaugh confirmation fight, he freely admitted, "People have funded us and I think they expect a return."... https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13087/aclu-opposition-to-kavanaugh-sounds-its-death

Naw, just good old fashioned Marxists. The ends justify the means type.

And they are beginning to accept the spirit of George Lincoln Rockwell that lives on in them.

By their very standards sotomayor and kegel are not unbiased objective jurists either, yet they were very happy to see them installed to push socialist libtard unconstitutional globalist crap.

The major thing “unfit” in this Nation are the so-called teachers (propagandists) who have uniformly transformed the Nation’s last two generations of students into socialism-supporting morons...

He wasn’t as conservative a nominee as I would have liked, but I LOVE that these idiots are so upset about this. It makes it all the sweeter.

I don’t care about the Justices’ political views. I only care that they are strict constitutionalists and do not try to make their own laws...politics should not be on the bench - neither left or right. I trust the framers.

Abolish the National Ejookayshun Association. It’s the main reason why our schools suck and our kids don’t learn anything.
