After 20+ years warning us about 2 degrees warming, they changed it to 1.5 degrees. A “real journalist” may ask “why?”
Option 1) New science says 1.5 degrees is BAAAAAD
Option 2) New science says we won’t reach 2 degrees so that warning doesn’t work any more
A “reporter” who does ask will be disappointed, avoid the science, and report “1.5 BAAAAAAAAAAAAD”.
An increase of 1.5 degrees C.
Isn’t the margin of error something like 10-15 degrees ?
